rec-util

Records Minecraft on macOS and uploads finished recordings to your YouTube channel.

From launch to exit

A Fabric mod starts a local recorder when Minecraft opens. Recordings include game-window video, game audio, and chapter markers for world and dimension changes.

Your channel, your archive

The local uploader uses Google OAuth authorization to upload completed recordings and organize them in a playlist named “storage.” Uploads request unlisted visibility; YouTube may restrict an unverified API project’s uploads to private.

Built for personal use

rec-util runs on the owner’s Mac. This website provides information only: it does not host recordings, collect Google credentials, or offer a sign-in service. Google access is used by the local uploader.
